OFIE-DIRECT DELIVERS USBORNE BOOKS@HOMES BOOKS TO HOMASE D A J.S.S & KG IN SPITE OF COVID-19 CHALLENGES.

The Homase D A Junior Secondary school and Kindergarten took delivery of their share of the REACT/Usborne Books@ Home project on Friday 13th March 2020.

The delivery was made possible by kind courtesy of Ofie-direct, the UK’s most reliable door-to-door shipper to Ghana.

The Assemblyman for the Homase electoral area, Honourable Isaac Osei Duah who contacted REACT through our social media platform as soon

as the book campaign project was launched presented the books. Honourable Osei-Duah thanked Osborne Books@Home for using REACT as a

credible source to make such useful materials reach needy schools in Ghana. Honourable  Osei Duah pleaded with the children and school authorities

to take good care of books to ensure that they serve the needs of successive pupils now and in the foreseeable future.

The Headteacher of the school Mr Isaac Owusu thanked the donors and facilitators for the gesture and pledged to put the books to good use. Mr Owusu said schools in the
areas could benefit immensely from more of such donations and hoped that more will come their way.

REACT’s Usborne Books@Home campaign started in 2020 and is intended to support 50 deprived schools throughout the 2020/21 academic year. Four schools have so far

benefited and Ofie-direct UK shipping continues to facilitate deliveries to Ghana as we push to accomplishes our target.
