MERTON SCHOOL BENEFITS FROM REACT/BOOK AID PARTNERSHIP PROJECT

Merton International Primary and High school was another beneficiary as soon as REACT’s book support project returned after Covid restrictions. The school which was set up in 1998 and currently has a pupil and student  population of 200 received 192 titles and 411 copies of textbooks, references, story books and purely academic books which included mathematics, English, Geography and the sciences as part of REACT’S book partnership with Book Aid International. Merton school was a choice by a Trustee Edward Emerson Amponsah as part of REACT’s intention of enabling Trustees to put a footprint in their local communities.

Merton’s Vice Principal Mr. Isaac Somua Nyarko  receiving the books expressed the school’s gratitude to REACT and Book Aid for the opportunity offered to students and pupils to further stimulate their imagination and provide the needed learning  and reference materials. Mr. Somua Nyarko was hopeful that REACT through its partners will continue to support the school in the future.
