REACT RECEIVES HEALTHCARE EQUIPMENT FROM MILLBROOK HEALTHCARE

REACT picked up the first consignment of Healthcare equipment from Millbrook Healthcare Centre in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

The consignment is part of the company’s support towards REACT’s aim of helping make education accessible to disabled children in the most vulnerable communities in Ghana. Site operations manager Karl Gibbons in a meeting with REACT to agree on the weekly donation said “We are happy to support REACT and supply equipment that enables indviduals within the communities in Ghana to lead more positive independent lives. Organisations such as REACT are important humanitarian projects which can change lives in a positive way.”

Presenting the first consignment the RSP Technician of Millbrook Healthcare Neville Griffiths said he believes the equipment some of which would been scrapped would help those disabled children regain their independence and live a much happier life.

Wisdom Bessie-Dente, a Trustee and Patron of REACT who negotiated the entire package thanked the management of Millbrook for their support and acknowledgment of REACT’s work. Wisdom assured the company of evidence of how these and future equipments would be put to good use. Wisdom explained that REACT is commited to remaining credible to all our donors hence, we always go back to donors after their donations with traceable evidence of how their donations have been used and will do same with Millbrook. Wisdom also said he hopes the managers will one day follow us to Ghana to acquaint themselves with our work.
