PATASE M/A BASIC SCHOOL RECEIVES THEIR SHARE OF USBORNE BOOKS@HOME/REACT DONATION

Patasi M/A Basic school in Kumasi Ashanti receives their share of REACT’s Usborne Books@Home donation with joy on Thursday 6th

February 2020. With 5 more consignment still in transit for donation to other schools by kind courtesy of Ofei-Direct door-to-door shippers

(http://ofiedirect.com/), Patasi is the second school to receive the books. The school was chosen by Trustee, Abena Ofei Agyemang as part

of REACT’s Trustees’ community support initiative. The donation was presented by Ms. Eunice Akoto Mansa Attakora-Manu, a Lead

Producer at Pure 957 FM a local radio station. Eunice said the donation arrived at a time when the school was desperate for reading books

and said they are a perfect response to a clarion call.

The Head teacher Madam Constance Adjei Sarfo thanked Usborne and REACT for their kindness and Eunice for her thought and coordination

to make the donation possible. Madam Adjei Sarfo pledged not only to ensure the books are put to good use but also take good care of them to

serve the needs of successive pupils both now and in the foreseeable future.
